Projected fare range uses launch-era figures: $2.50/passenger-mile (FDOT Business Plan revenue assumption) to $3.00 (announced industry pricing targets). Long-run industry projections (~$0.95/mi) could eventually cut fares by roughly two-thirds — noted here, not used for display. Not a service you can ride today.

Data — BLS QCEW annual averages, 2020 vs 2025 (county totals, all ownerships); centroids from the Census 2025 gazetteer (INTPT). Seed built 2026-07-22, refreshed annually (QCEW is an annual series — there is no fresher public county payroll census).

Known limits — county grain, not employer sites: public data gives covered-employment totals and registered addresses, never private site headcounts. Planned refinements: SEC EDGAR registrant HQ points and Census CBP ZIP-level establishment concentration.
